Day 1: UK - Oslo

Touch down in Oslo, Norway’s beautiful capital. Self-transfer to the hotel, then spend the rest of the day exploring. You might want to start off by deep-diving into the country’s seafaring and adventurous past at the Viking Ship Museum or the FRAM Museum, which tells the story of Norway's artic explorations. You could also wander the charming waterfront admire the futuristic Oslo Opera House, which you can clamber on top of for a bit of a thrill. (Meals: none)

Day 2: Oslo - Evenes - Svolvær

Enjoy breakfast in the hotel, then meet with your tour leader and transfer to the airport, where you’ll fly to Evenes then transfer to Svolvær, on the enchanting Lofoten Islands. This northerly crop of lands are as charming as they are picturesque, with jagged peaks, glimmering lakes and greenery abound combining to create a magical setting. (Meals: breakfast)

Day 3: Svolvær - Harstad

Today you’ll get to explore the Lofoten Islands on an unforgettable tour, through small hidden villages and across waterways. In the winter this area is famous for Northern Lights hunting, but in summer you’ll be treated to an equally incredible spectacle – the midnight sun. If you’re coming between May and July, you won’t ever see the sun dip below the horizon. (Meals: breakfast)

Day 4: Harstad - Tromsø

Drive to Tromsø this morning, the gateway to the Arctic, 400 kilometres north of the Arctic Circle. You’ll spend most of the day admiring the landscapes from the comfort of your coach; through emerald valleys, across bridges between islands, past fjords and glittering lakes. Spend the evening at leisure in Tromsø. (Meals: breakfast)

Day 5: Tromsø - Honningsvåg (North Cape)

Today you’ll continue your journey to the northernmost point in Europe – the North Cape. You’ll have several short ferry crossings en route, allowing you to really take in the stunning scenery. Drive along the Kvænangen fjord and into the heart of the arctic, which borders Finnish Lapland to the south, Russia to the east and the Norwegian Sea to the northwest. Few people live in these parts, except for Sami (Lappish people), and you’ll truly feel like you’re at the end of the earth. Keep an eye out for reindeer herds as you drive. Arrive late in the afternoon and have some time at leisure before venturing to the North Cape promontory to watch the Midnight Sun - you'll expect the sun to set, but it'll keep on shining. (Meals: breakfast)

Day 6: Honningsvåg (North Cape) - Oslo

Its time to head back to Oslo today, stopping in Alta, the largest town in Norway’s northernmost county. Catch a flight from Alta to Oslo, then spend the evening at leisure. (Meals: breakfast)
