  • Coastal setting near Venice: Up the coast from ancient, beautiful Venice, Bibione is a lively, family-friendly beach resort with a swathe of unspoilt sand and nearby activities. Bibione Palace Spa Hotel is just the spot: from your beach base, head out cycling, Nordic walking or kayaking, or head into La Serenissima itself for some history.

  • Family friendly: The hotel is family-owned and family-run, with a great choice of kid-friendly activities, from a playground, pools and slides, to special activities for little ones. While they’re playing, unwind in the spa with a soothing treatment, or in the Turkish hammam or one of the pools.

  • Italian dining: At this Tripadvisor Travellers' Choice-winner, three restaurants will keep you satisfied with a choice of traditional Italian cuisine, including homemade pizza. For an elegant evening out, Restaurant Mastroianni offers upscale dining and sommelier-selected wines.

How to get there

The seafront location means you’re in the thick of things, activities-wise. For ease, fly into Venice Marco Polo airport (about 98 kilometers away) which has a wide choice of flights. If you’re driving, head northeast on the A4 autostrada and then turn off south towards Bibione and the beach.

Via Taigete 20, 30028 Bibione, Italy

With a wide, south-facing Blue Flag beach, the resort of Bibione overlooks the sparkling waters of the Adriatic Sea: it’s no wonder the town has been welcoming sun-seeking visitors since the 1950s. Halfway between Venice and Trieste, it's surrounded by the watery landscape of the Veneto, backed by lush greenery and close to the Tagliamento River.

Sample the delicious sparkling wines of the region at relaxed restaurants and pizzerias while enjoying a taste of Veneto cuisine, like risotto nero and tiramisu. During high season, the town hosts many fun events to get involved in, from an asparagus festival showcasing the region’s most famous vegetable to fun runs, volleyball tournaments and guided cycling tours.
