Day 1: UK – Night on board

Hop aboard your flight to Namibia’s capital today and get settled in for the night. 

Day 2: Windhoek – Etosha National Park

After you’ve arrived into Windhoek, get whisked off to the famed plains and saltpans of the Etosha National Park, arguably one of the world’s best national parks to spot wildlife. Get settled into you cap and be sure to watch the sunset over the vast plains with a beer or two. (Meals: breakfast)

Day 3: Etosha National Park


After breakfast, set off on an unforgettable full-day game drive through Etosha. Keep your eyes peeled for the many iconic species of wildlife that call this park home, including rare black rhino, elephants, leopards, lions and much more. (Meals: breakfast)

Day 4: Etosha National Park – Damaraland


Continue your adventure this morning with a morning game drive before continuing to Damaraland, an untamed, rugged and beautiful desert landscape. Known for its spectacular rock formations, you’ll pay a visit to the ancient rock engravings of Twyfelfontein, the granite peaks of Spitzkoppe and the vast Brandberg Mountain. (Meals: breakfast)

Day 5: Damaraland – Swakopmund


After a hearty breakfast, set off into the landscapes of Damaraland, stopping at the amazing White Lady Rock Drawings, deep within Brandberg Mountain and the amazing lava formations of Burnt Mountain. Explore the fossilised tree trunks of the Petrified Forest, dating back millions of years. Afterwards, continue to Swakopmund, Namibia's most famous coastal city. (Meals: breakfast)

Day 6: Swakopmund

Enjoy a day at leisure today and opt to explore the famous Skeleton Coast, the ‘world’s largest ship cemetery’. (Meals: breakfast)

Day 7: Swakopmund – Sossusvlei

It's time to explore Namibia's most famous landscapes in Sossusvlei, known for its huge red sand dunes and a true photographers paradise. Take the opportunity to climb 'Big Daddie', one of the largest and most iconic dunes, and capture the changing shapes and light of this unique landscape. Then, continue to the salt and clay pans of Deadvlei. (Meals: breakfast)

Day 8: Sossusvlei – Sesriem – Sossusvlei


After breakfast at the hotel, set off again into the vast landscapes of Soussusveli to explore the Sesriem Canyon, shaped by the Tsauchab River over millions of years. (Meals: breakfast)

Day 9: Sossusvlei – Kalahari Desert


Today, come face-to-face with the amazing landscapes of the Kalahari Desert. This living desert is famous for its semi-arid savannah and for being the last bastion of the indigenous San people. As you journey through its rich landscapes, look out for impalas, jackals and cheetahs and be blown away by the bright orange and yellow hues of the rolling sea of sand. (Meals: breakfast)

Day 10: Kalahari Desert – Windhoek


Enjoy a free morning soaking up the stunning landscapes of the Kalahari for one last time, then head back to the capital Windhoek for a final night in Namibia. (Meals: breakfast)

Day 11: Windhoek – Night on board

At the indicated time, transfer to the airport for a return flight back to the UK and spend the night on board.

Day 12: UK


Arrive back into the UK where your trip ends on arrival.

In short, you pay Secret Escapes a non-refundable deposit to secure your holiday, then you pay the holiday supplier the remaining balance of the holiday - as advertised - at a later date (before you travel).
