How to get there
The Cornwall Hotel Spa & Estate is roughly a five and a half hours' drive from London, via the M4 and M5. Alternatively, you can take the train from London Paddington to St Austell, which is roughly a 25-minute walk (or five-minute taxi ride) from the hotel. It's also possible to fly from London Gatwick to Newquay, which takes around 50 minutes. The airport is approximately 40 minutes away by car.

This 19th-century estate is situated outside Mevagissey, on the southern coast of Cornwall. This is an ideal location for nature-lovers – the world-famous Eden Project is only 15 minutes away by car and 10 minutes in the other direction takes you to the Lost Gardens of Heligan. As for beaches, you're positively spoiled for choice down here, with wide bays lining the coast all the way from Porthpean to Penzance.
