- Authentic cuisine: Breakfast is a low-key but tasty affair, boasting a tempting buffet of continental and Mediterranean options. The restaurant is full of character and charm, located in the house’s old olive-pressing room, and you can dine on beautifully presented dishes with both local and international flavours.
- Classic style: Rooms are delightfully rustic, with dark-wood beams and stone-tiled floors brought to life by bold, statement furnishings, while little touches like iron figurines and terracotta jugs add to the homely feel. Location and what's nearby
New Can Furios Hotel, Diseminado Binibona-cl. Esglesia, 1A, 07314, Illes Balears
There are plenty of hiking trails in the vicinity, as well as golf courses and cycling routes. But don’t worry about being out in the sticks – you’re just a 10-minute drive from the attractive town of Selva, which retains a pre-tourist vibe with its terracotta-roofed houses and old-world charm.
It’s worth making the 2km journey up to Caimairi, too – a hilltop village renowned on the island for its olive oil, hidden within a valley far from the beaten track. If you’re craving some sun, sea and sand, the modern resort of Can Picafort, boasting plenty of bars and restaurants and a whopping 13 kilometres of beach, is around a 40-minute drive away. A car would be useful for reaching the beaches and generally exploring this beautiful island.
